Become a Mentor
Knowledge is power. What may have been the prime issues when a parent was an adolescent are no longer the major issues that affect teenagers today. By staying informed and up to date, one provides the tools he needs to combat the increasingly available negative influences. Aishel parent support group, led by certified social workers, shares vital information and practical insights with concerned mothers and fathers. In addition, Aishel partners struggling parents with field professionals to learn how to listen to their teen and resist the urge to judge or advise. Because, although they're often reluctant to admit it, young adults still seek approval and love from their parents. If they don't feel valued and understood at home, they'll turn elsewhere to get the acceptance they so deeply need. And while a warm relationship is ideal, mothers and fathers must always remember their role: to be a parent and not a pal. This overriding responsibility is to ensure the well-being and safety of their child. Aishel can help determine what is best for your son/daughter and devise a step by step plan to achieve positive results.

Become a Mentor
Are you strong and consistent in your convictions? Are you honest, approachable and self confident? Do you demonstrate genuine concern for others? Do you have the ability provide stability and inspiration? Consider becoming a mentor and make a positive difference in the lives of young teens. The title of mentor tends to frighten away well-intentioned individuals. But a mentor is just a caring adult who steps forward with a resounding. Yes, I will spend one-on-one time to add value to a child's life. You too can offer encouragement, share your knowledge and inspire those who need to have healthy relationships with grown-ups. By avoiding finger-wagging lectures and working with each youth at his/her own pace, you can tap the potentiality of a person and help him/her pursue that potential to its fruition. With practical solutions, you can gear youngsters toward a more success-oriented attitude and assist them in setting higher goals and achieving a better way of life.

Both male and female mentors of every age group are in high demand. For more information and/or to volunteer your services, please contact us here.

Volunteer a Workshop
Some of the programs that we do are programs that will keep girls occupied with positive experiences. Girls gravitate to giving and helping. The process not only keeps our girls occupied but is very helpful for the girls self esteem. We constantly create chessed opportunities in form of programs for the girls to join throughout the year.

Another program that we do is a weekly learning program. the program consists of mentors learning one on one with the girls. This develops a close bond between student and mentor as well as a positive learning experience. Of course we are always available to assist with emergency and non emergency intervention, crisis counselling and mentoring.

Many parents, teachers and educators call on us for advice and assistance for all types of situations and students. We are always available to help or guide those with both crisis and non crisis situations.
